Ft Myers 2022 Furry Survivor
RP Manager Nick Forman greeted by the lost pup now known as "Flora"
Flora quickly appreciated the resources and love provided by RP in thier quest of aiding and supporting abandoned and distressed animals left behind in disasters.
Meet Flora, the Hurricane Wonder dog, we came upon her in disress at 2:00 am, in Florida - Our crew tried to find her owners, but no one knew her or the people she belonged.
Flora quickly became our new RESTOPRO Team Member, Keeping the Crews entertained at night and wanting to be part of every minute of our day, She quickly learned our scheduel and was participating daily in teh disaster recovery. (Flora - Ready for work Picture below)
Restopro is not the only ones helping pets in a disaster, Many church groups including Fort Myers Community Church were providing love in the form of food donations to affected pets and displaced families.
(See Photo below of the Community)
Flora -Was grateful to recieve for food for the coming Month via the generous donations provided to the Fort Myers Community Church WWW.fmcc.life... Thank You
2020 Illinois Rescue
Meet Jingles, Below he was the beautiful red nose terrier whom failed to initially find a home, RestoPro located him and offered him an opportunity of a lifetime to work along with the crew...
Jingles has been in the RP foster HQ program getting the love and attention he needs, He is extremely fond of his rescue mom and has found his loving place and voice. (Initially A silent pup who never barked, and has quickly found the art of socialization)
Many ask us if the RP rescues work with the crews, YEs the RP family is growing quickly, Noted below Jingles watching the crew, and assisting in picking up equipment and dropping off supplies
2021 Lousiania Rescue
Meet "Little Grey", we never knew his name but we came upon him tied to a front handrail at an abandoned home in Lousiania, He was starving for food and water preceding the hurricane of 2021, and loved the needed attention and love from our support crews, he loved the air conditioning and was reunited with his loving family... Both were happy to see one another..

February 2023 Update
Flora - Happy Pup
Flora kept a look out for unwanted strangers ... or lost snacks
Flora Quickly found new friends and socialized easily with Fellow Furrry Floridians
Flora quickly found her place at night next to RP mgr Nick Forman
Happy Homes are no mistake, When a pet is left behind its either out of sheer need of family survival or from a point of being overwhelmed with an unknown future or landlords providing shelter and having a "No pet Clause in the Rental agreement" RestoPro will always extend our hospitality and resources to a helpless family or pet struggling for survival. and see they find a warm place with love (See below pic of Flora relaxing after a busy day of activity)
As of 2/21/2023 Flora has been comfortable, Her and RP Nick are BFF's
and she is acklimating well and socializing well...
PS Nick spoiles her with a cool NEW Dig too....
We will inroduce distressed pets to Dr Catherine for advice and how to provide critical or necessary aid (Meet "Dr Cat"- Below)

RP Staff Party
Update many have asked if the associated and rescued friends now working at the HQ get along, Yes Flora has become "the queen of the castle", she has to be the most alert and attentive rescue to date, keeping the crews on thier feet, and a snack free zone....
Additionally During our Recovery efforts - We come across Animals in Distress, Frequently abandoned and struggling for life. Frequently left behind by displaced families whom themselves are also struggling to survive - Ultimately find thier way to the FEMA camps seeking protection, comfort and safety, clean showers, Hot food and Laundering facilities.
Thier Loved Pets are another story- As Familes are Not allowed to bring pets with or into the recovery camps, often left behind to survive- trapped in cars, on Decks, Tied up or Trapped in Yards, only to be left at or in homes with no power, water or air movement - left alone in rubble or in solitude.
Key Recovery Note: It has been noted by Local EMT and Police that animals left behind during a disaster and reported, are often "Put Down" in a humane manner, rather than allowed to struggle to starve and wither away due to lack of Food, Water or Shelter from the Heat.
Our Team of RESTOPRO Volenteers - Actively help to provide water, and food to family pets in thier time of need, Helping to scheduel relief, walk thier pets, or Aid in cooliong - setting up a tarp or canopy to shelter from the sun, and even help to relocate the pets into our facilities in time of need or offer assistance to Affiliated Service Providers, additionally we step in to offer a "Helping Hand" to Local Animal Care and Control in thier time of need. Offering the full extent of our resources, care and support.
Additionally - Our Responders offer Trauma stricken Elderly Residents comfort in the form of home visits and community gatherings, to relieve stress and afford some form of comfort and direction in a tramatic and cateclismic event.
National Pet Relief Donations are welcomed and well appreciated by our Furry Friends, Donations and Volenteers mobilize on a declared event and assist in helping to locate and provide a safe haven for these animals to survive.
We have Identified Key Vetrinary Outlets and Volenteers whom actively help these Animals across America
